Design Thinking empowers people to solve the challenges of the 21st century

In times of climate change, finite resources, migration, globalization, and digital transformation, the demand for people who are able to tackle these challenges arises. It is in my DNA as a Design Thinker to embrace challenges. For over 10 years, I have been working as a lecturer, coach and project developer in the field of Ethics and Design Thinking and Human Values. I enjoy empowering students, individuals, and teams to come up with a new mindset in order to develop more sustainable products, services, and strategies based on human values to save people and our planet.

Design Thinking and Human Values

What sets me apart as a lecturer and coach for Design Thinking is that I developed a program which combines Design Thinking with Business Ethics in 2010. This entails always asking which human value the product, service or strategy will have for the company and for society. Therefore, I call it “Design Thinking and Human Values”.

Due to the aspects of New Work, the role of leadership has changed. For this reason, I developed a program with experts who train people in self-leadership and mindful leadership including the power of their body, mind, and soul. In addition, field research contributes in providing deep insights into organizations which already apply new models of leadership at workplace.

Intercultural Innovation

Working with people in cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary teams from all over the world in the last ten years, I could observe how important it is to train people to work in diverse teams. In this way, they could come up with ideas for innovative products, services and strategies which will work in times of the global and digital platform economy.
